Gordon Mays

Gordon made the most of his time at WONC, hosting All Ages Radio all four years with his still-to-this-day best buddy Kevin Manno (as well as Kevin’s brother, Ryan, for a couple of years), and serving as Production Director from 2003 to 2005. He also interned with Victory Records and Q101 before embarking on a professional broadcasting career.

After graduating, Gordon worked for a number of radio stations, including Q101, 97.9 The Loop, 94 WYSP in Philadelphia, 99.5 WJBR in Wilmington, Delaware, and Philadelphia’s legendary 92.5 WXTU. Since 2017, he’s been on the air at 95.3 The Bull in Rockford, IL, and now serves as the station’s Midday Host and Program Director.

Gordon, his wife Sarah, and their two daughters currently reside outside of Rockford, but he’s always excited to flip on WONC when he’s in the area.
