Can I get WONC on my mobile phone? Computer? Where and how can I listen to WONC besides my radio?

Answer: Yes! You can listen to WONC on the iHeartRadio mobile app, and at WONC.org.

Will you guys play my band/music on WONC?

Answer: We might! You may mail a CD of your music to our station at:

I won something from your station! Can you guys mail it to me?

Answer: If your prize is valued over $100, we unfortunately can’t, and you’ll have to arrange a time to pick your prize up at our station. If your prize is valued under $100 dollars, you may contact the General Manager at zjdewitz@noctrl.edu to obtain a release form stating that WONC will not be responsible for lost, misdirected, stolen, or otherwise unreceived prizes, and that you understand prizes will not be replaced under any circumstances.

What song did you guys just play? Who sings this one song I heard?

Answer: If you want to know the name of a song you just heard, you can either call or text our studio at 630-637-8989, or send an email to feedback@wonc.org with the approximate day and time that you heard the song.

Does WONC have any current job or internship openings? How do I become a DJ and get on-air at WONC?

Answer: Since WONC is a student-run radio station owned and operated by North Central College, we don’t hire anyone to work for us. The only way to be part of WONC is to enroll as a student at North Central College (full-time or part-time, undergraduate), and participate in MEDI 117 Radio Practicum for 0 or 1 credit.

We also don’t offer internships, but we’re happy to arrange a time for elementary school, middle school, or high school students (accompanied by a parent or guardian) to tour our station and/or shadow one of our DJs.
